PCV Valve
Simple quick VFAQ. I did this first thing when I bought the car See 2G upgrades. The manuals will tell you how often it needs to be changed. A clogged PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) valve can make your engine run poorly.

There is the PCV valve. It has a hose that runs to
the intake.

The only thing I have ever used a 15mm wrench for.
Remove the hose and loosen the valve. Sometimes I leave the hose attached
if it spins freely.

Here is the old PCV Valve removed from the cover.

Put the new valve and DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN IT!!!
It can and will break the valve cover if you do.

Put the hose back on and you are finished.
