2G AWD Suspension Install Rear
Short and sweet VFAQ. Much easier than the front.

Remove the two 14 mm nuts from the top. You may want
to loosen the middle bolt as well but do not remove it.

Jack up the car, remove the wheel and remove the 17mm
bolt from the bottom of the shock.

Drop the shock assemble downward and thru the rear control arm as pictured. Lift up and out. Compress spring as described in the 1G shock install faq and refer to the first 2 pages of the 2G front for tips I may have missed (IE: bump stops). |

Now for the RRE rear camber kit. Using the Eibach pro kit I do not believe this was even necesaary, but I decided to do it just in case. The kit is 8 spacers and 8 longer bolts with washers. Remove the four 14mm bolts as shown. |

You can easily slide the spacers into place as shown.

Here is another picture. Tighten in the new bolts
to factory torque spec.

Here is all four in and ready to put the shock back
in.

Place the shock back in and slide it onto the arm. Tighten the 17mm bolt back in. Place the two upper 14mm nuts on and tighten them back down. That is it! |
